Job summary

AdaptHealth is seeking a Respiratory Support Technician to deliver comprehensive care across home and clinical settings. You will set up PAP equipment, train patients, and perform follow-ups to ensure optimal outcomes.

The role requires strong attention to detail, adherence to HIPAA, and ability to manage multiple tasks with compassion. You'll collaborate with Respiratory staff, learn current programs, and complete required compliance training while supporting billing documentation and equipment

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with respiratory equipment and DME preferred.
• Knowledge of insurance verification processes is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Respiratory Department Staff to provide equipment instruction, service, and troubleshooting for respiratory patients.
• Set up PAP devices and fittings with clear instructions to patients.
• Perform follow-up calls and visits to ensure optimal care outcomes and escalate urgent needs.
• Maintain documentation including delivery tickets and compliance forms.
• Adhere to PPE, infection control, and HIPAA guidelines while handling equipment.
