Job summary

AdaptHealth, LLC is seeking a Respiratory Support Technician to provide comprehensive patient care across home, office, and hospital settings. You will ensure patients receive appropriate respiratory equipment and services efficiently while acting as a subject matter expert and mentor to teammates.

The role emphasizes equipment setup, routine maintenance, accurate documentation, and compliance with HIPAA and company policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in Medicare certified HME environment a plus.
• Knowledge of respiratory therapy or DME services preferred.
• Valid driver's license from state of residence.

Responsibilities

• Set up and fit PAP patients with equipment and masks; provide clear instructions.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance checks and basic repairs per policy.
• Complete documentation including delivery tickets, ABNs, AMAs, and equipment instructions.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and confidentiality; complete required training.
• Promote respiratory services and products to community referral sources.
• Assist with training and mentoring team members; support quality improvement programs.
