Job summary

Mercy Health’s Simpsonville Medical Center is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner II to provide patient-focused respiratory care, including assessment, planning, intervention, and education. The role covers ventilator care, oxygen therapy, and related procedures.

You will monitor responses to therapies, educate patients and families, and work with a multidisciplinary team to optimize outcomes in a nights shift setting.

Qualifications

• Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner in the state of work.
• NBRC credentialed is required.
• Two years of experience as a Respiratory Care Professional.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care through assessment, planning, intervention and education.
• Monitor patient response and adjust therapies as needed.
• Assist with procedures and maintain equipment.
• Serve as Charge Therapist to ensure staffing and coverage.
• Educate patients and families on therapies.
