Job summary

Bon Secours is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner II to deliver comprehensive respiratory care at Simpsonville Medical Center. The role includes patient assessment, planning, intervention, and education, with involvement in ventilator care and diagnostic services.

The practitioner will supervise staffing as Charge Therapist when needed, perform arterial tests, and ensure high-quality care while adhering to protocols and documentation standards.

Qualifications

• Current Respiratory Care License in the state where you work.
• NBRC credentialed; RRT preferred.
• Two years’ experience as a Respiratory Care Professional.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care including oxygen, ventilator care and aerosolized medications.
• Assist physicians with bronchoscopy and airway procedures as applicable.
• Serve as charge therapist to coordinate staffing and shift coverage.
• Educate patients and families on therapies and post-treatment care.
