Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health is hiring a PRN Respiratory Care Practitioner II at Anderson Hospital to assess, plan, implement and evaluate respiratory therapies. The role includes ventilator care, bronchoscopy support, education, and collaboration with physicians and staff on a fast-paced clinical unit.

Candidates must hold a valid Respiratory Care license, NBRC credentialed, and typically have 2 years of experience in respiratory care.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience as a Respiratory Care Professional.
• NBRC credentialed and active required; RRT preferred.
• State licensure in Respiratory Care required.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care per assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation.
• May serve as shift Charge Therapist to ensure staffing needs.
• Perform ventilator care, airway management and education.
• Instruct patients and families on therapies and home care as needed.
