Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health at Fairfield Hospital seeks a Respiratory Care Practitioner II to deliver comprehensive respiratory care, including assessment, planning, intervention and patient education. You will monitor responses and collaborate with the care team to optimize outcomes.

The role requires NBRC credentialing and state licensure, at least two years of experience, and CPR/ACLS/PALS. This is a full-time, on-site position with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree related to Respiratory Therapy or healthcare.
• NBRC credentialed and state license required.
• Two years of experience as a Respiratory Care Professional.
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care including assessment, planning, intervention, education and evaluation.
• Perform ventilator care and airway management.
• Assist with bronchoscopy and other procedures as needed.
• Monitor patient responses and adjust therapy accordingly.
• Serve as preceptor to new team members and students.
