Job summary

Mercy Health – Fairfield Hospital is seeking an experienced Respiratory Care Practitioner II to deliver comprehensive respiratory care, assess patients, and lead shifts as Charge Therapist. You will plan, execute and evaluate therapies, monitor responses, and collaborate with physicians.

Requirements include NBRC credential, state license, BLS/ACLS/PALS, and a Bachelor’s in Respiratory Therapy. EPIC EHR experience is a plus; Mercy offers competitive pay and strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience as a Respiratory Care Professional.
• Current Respiratory Care License in the practicing state.
• NBRC credentialed (required).
• BLS Basic Life Support (required).
• ACLS Advanced Life Support (required).
• PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support (required).
• EPIC EHR training (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Serve as shift Charge Therapist with staffing oversight.
• Assist physicians with procedures and airway management.
• Perform CPR and airway care per protocols.
• Conduct prescribed respiratory therapies and document results.
• Educate patients and families on therapies and devices.
