Job summary

Bon Secours Health System seeks a Respiratory Care Practitioner II for nights at the St. Francis Downtown location.

The role provides respiratory care, assessments, planning, interventions, and education with ventilator care and diagnostic services as part of patient care teams. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in Respiratory Therapy (preferred), current state license, NBRC credential, and 2 years of experience, with strong communication and team skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field (preferred)
• Current Respiratory Care License in the state of practice (required)
• NBRC credentialed (required)
• BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications (required)
• Two years of experience as a Respiratory Care Professional (required)

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care including oxygen/bronchodilator delivery and ventilator management.
• Possess leadership duties such as shift Charge Therapist coverage.
• Perform CPR and airway management per ACLS protocol.
• Educate patients and families on therapy goals and home care.
• Maintain and troubleshoot respiratory equipment and supplies.
