Job summary

Loyola Medicine, a member of Trinity Health, is seeking a Respiratory Care Coordinator to supervise the Respiratory Care Practitioners on the assigned shift, coordinating hospital-wide services for adults, pediatrics and neonatal patients, ensuring quality care and optimal resource use.

The role requires IL RCP license, BLS, NRP and PALS within 90 days, an associate degree (bachelor’s within 18 months), and 3–10 years pediatric/neonatal experience. Night shift, with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• RCP License from the State of Illinois through IDFPR.
• BLS for Healthcare Provider (American Heart Association).
• NRP and PALS within 90 days of hiring.
• Associate degree; bachelor’s degree within 18 months of starting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor the delivery of Respiratory Care services hospital wide (Adults, Pediatrics, Neonatal).
• Supervise all personnel on the assigned shift and provide clinical leadership as a resource.

• Under general direction of the department manager, according to departmental and hospital standards, the Respiratory Care Practitioner Coordinator, coordinates and monitors the delivery of Respiratory Care services hospital wide (Adults, Pediatrics, and Neonatal) ensuring quality and appropriateness, by supervising all personnel on the assigned shift as well as providing leadership as a clinical resource for defined services.

What you’ll need for this job

• RCP License from the State of Illinois through IDFPR
• Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider (BLS) through the American Heart Association
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) through the American Heart Association within 90 days of hiring
• Associate degree (bachelor's degree within 18 months of starting)
• Bachelor's degree preferred at time of hire/transfer
• 3-5 years experience with neo/peds population
• 6-10 years experience with neo/peds population preferred

Pay Range

Pay Range: $36.50 - $54.35 per hour

Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.
