Job summary

Hope Network in Muskegon, MI seeks a Resource Navigator for a seasonal full-time role. You will conduct referrals, intakes, and assessments, maintaining records and data entry to support participants’ progress toward employment.

You’ll facilitate trainings, provide advocacy, and connect clients with housing, healthcare, and other community resources. You will also act as a case manager for justice-involved adults in Kent County, coordinating services and maintaining access clearance where

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years in human services or related field.
• Experience supporting justice-involved or socioeconomically disadvantaged individuals preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Conduct referral eligibility screenings, intakes, orientations, and required assessments.
• Maintain accurate participant records, including case notes, progress reports, and data entry.
• Facilitate training classes and group sessions (e.g., Cognitive Self Change, employability skills, parent support, and community workshops).
• Provide guidance, advocacy, and referrals to connect participants with community resources such as healthcare, housing, food, education, and employment opportunities.
• Monitor participant progress throughout all phases of programming, from intake through successful employment.
• Serve as a case manager/employment specialist for justice-involved adults in the Kent County Jail and/or Kent County Probation Office.
• Obtain and maintain clearance to access the Kent County Juvenile Detention Center.
