Job summary

Community Family Advocates seeks a Resource Navigator to engage clients at the Engagement Center, listen to needs, and help them build a short-term plan with pathways to housing and services. The role includes walking with clients to government offices downtown and supporting outreach teams in bringing people into the Center.

Ideal candidates listen with empathy, know local resources, and can collaborate across teams while maintaining confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years’ experience helping people facing housing crises.
• Strong understanding of psychiatric rehabilitation, addiction recovery, and trauma-informed care is preferred.
• Excellent collaboration, documentation, and confidentiality skills.

Responsibilities

• Welcome clients, help them register, and explain available services.
• Sign clients up for services and assist with wayfinding.
• Sit with clients to develop a short-term game plan and connect them to next steps.
• Join rounds and accompany street outreach to engage clients where needed.
• Provide housing search support and resource navigation guidance.
