Job summary

South Seas, a Pyramid Global Hospitality property on Captiva Island, seeks a Restaurant Server to deliver attentive dining experiences. You will welcome guests, present menus, take orders, and ensure timely service across three venues.

You will work with hosts, bartenders, kitchen staff, and fellow servers, upsell items, maintain cleanliness, follow safety guidelines, and support events as needed. A valid FL driver's license and age 18+ are required; a high school diploma is preferred and prior

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must have valid driver's license; background check will be completed.
• Must be 18+ to serve/sell alcohol in FL.
• Previous restaurant serving experience preferred; upscale resort or hospitality experience is a plus.
• Experience using POS systems preferred.
• Alcohol awareness certification or ability to obtain required (through South Seas).
• Food Handlers Certification or ability to obtain required (through South Seas).

Responsibilities

• Provide warm, genuine, and professional service to every guest from arrival through departure.
• Enter orders into the POS system accurately and communicate dietary restrictions to the kitchen.
• Upsell appetizers, beverages, desserts, and featured items.
• Maintain clean, organized service stations and assist with table resets.
• Work with hosts, bartenders, kitchen staff, and fellow servers for seamless operations.
• Adhere to responsible alcohol service guidelines and health/safety standards.
