Job summary

Great Wolf Lodge in Mashantucket, CT is seeking a Prep/Pantry Cook to support all restaurants and banquets with timely, quality food production.

You will prep per recipes, maintain sanitation, operate POS and Kitchen Display System, and join a team that values flexibility and growth opportunities. Pay starts at $21.50 per hour with flexible scheduling for full-time, part-time, and casual roles.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent experience.
• Minimum one year of previous cook experience in a similar environment.
• Comprehensive knowledge of food preparation and sanitation practices.
• Ability to use POS and Kitchen Display System.
• Flexibility with scheduling including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Criminal background check and drug screen clearance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and follow department procedures; complete daily temperature logs, cleaning logs, line check sheets and waste sheets.
• Ensure compliance with food-handling and sanitation regulations.
• Prepare foods for fruits, vegetables, meats, poultry, fish, etc.
• Perform prep work to support all restaurants; prepare food according to recipes.
• Support Buffet and Banquet operations; execute prep per production list and BEOs.
• Work Pantry and/or Dessert Station in various service formats.
• Prepare items per recipe guidelines and adjust flavors as needed.
• Monitor supplies and stock levels; manage inventory and requisitioning.
• Ensure equipment operation and conduct preventive maintenance.
• Assist kitchen leadership and end-of-shift check-out.
