Job summary

Great Wolf Lodge is seeking a Restaurant Line Cook in Mashantucket, CT. The role involves fast-paced food preparation per chef recipes, with focus on quality and guest satisfaction. Pay is $22.50 per hour and hiring is immediate for full-time, part-time, or flexible schedules.

Responsibilities include following procedures, sanitation standards, coordinating with the Main Kitchen, and handling various stations. Benefits include medical, 401K, time off, and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent experience.
• Minimum two years of previous cook experience in a similar environment.
• Comprehensive knowledge of food preparation and sanitation.
• Ability to work with Point of Sale system and Kitchen Display System.
• Flexible scheduling including nights, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Must be able to obtain local or state food handling permits and Serv Safe certification as required.
• Successful completion of criminal background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and follow all department operating procedures; complete daily temperature logs, cleaning logs, line check sheets and food waste sheets.
• Ensure compliance with all food-handling and sanitation regulations.
• Prepare food items per recipe guidelines, tasting and adjusting for flavor with supervisor guidance.
• Execute food orders according to guest preference on multiple orders.
• Coordinate with Main Kitchen Cook for prep, restocking, and end-of-shift cleaning.
• Monitor stock, assist in stocking food and supplies, and inform chef of shortages.
