Job summary

Great Wolf Lodge is hiring a Prep/Pantry Cook for our Concord, NC location. The role involves preparing a variety of foods for guests in a fast-paced environment, following recipe standards, and supporting restaurant operations during both buffet and à la carte services.

You will ensure food safety, sanitation, and high-quality presentation. The position offers full-time, part-time, and flexible scheduling with benefits and opportunities for career development through Great Wolf University.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum one year of previous cook experience in a similar environment.
• Comprehensive knowledge of food preparation and sanitation.
• Ability to work with POS and Kitchen Display System.
• Flexible scheduling including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Must obtain local or state food handling permits and ServSafe certification as required.
• Successful completion of criminal background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and follow department procedures; complete daily temperature, cleaning, line check, and waste logs.
• Ensure compliance with food-handling and sanitation regulations.
• Prepare food for fruits, vegetables, meats, poultry, fish, etc.
• Perform prep work to support all restaurants; produce food per recipe and standards.
• Support Buffet and Banquet operations; prep per production list and BEOs.
• Work Pantry and/or Dessert Station in various service styles.
• Process guest orders accurately and promptly.
• Prepare items per recipe guidelines; taste and adjust with supervisor/chef input.
• Monitor inventory and replenish as needed; manage equipment maintenance and repairs.
