OVERVIEW

Resort Pool Attendants are responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary pool area and ensuring that all safety equipment is present and functional at all times.

JOB DUTIES

1. Test and balance pool chemicals, document as required by regulations, and add chemicals as needed.
2. Monitor and adjust pool temperature as directed.
3. Clean and vacuum the pool, clean skimmer baskets, backwash filters, and skim the pool as needed.
4. Monitor individuals entering and leaving the pool area, ensuring capacity limits are not exceeded.
5. Maintain cleanliness of pool bathrooms, ensure they are stocked and free of standing water.
6. Enforce posted pool rules.
7. Check safety equipment and first aid supplies daily for proper functioning and stock.
8. Sweep the pool deck and surrounding areas daily.
9. Arrange pool furniture regularly, keeping it clean and in good condition.
10. Clean the clubhouse and surrounding common areas as needed.
11. Maintain landscaping by gardening and weeding in common areas.
12. Perform other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

1. High School Diploma or GED (preferred).
2. Ability to read and understand written instructions.
3. Basic computer skills, including email and internet use.
4. Flexibility to work during non-business hours for events.
5. Valid driver’s license.
6. Strong communication skills.
