Overview

Resort Pool Attendants must maintain a clean and sanitary pool area as well as ensure that all safety equipment is present at and around the pool area at all times.

Job Duties

1. Test and balance pool chemicals. Document as required by state and local regulations. Test water and add chemicals as needed.
2. Monitor and adjust pool temperature as directed.
3. Clean and vacuum pool. Clean skimmer baskets. Backwash pool filters. Skim pool with skimmer as needed.
4. Monitor individuals entering and leaving the pool area. Ensure state capacity is not exceeded.
5. Ensure pool bathrooms are clean, stocked with supplies, and free of standing water.
6. Ensure all posted pool rules are being adhered to.
7. Ensure safety equipment is present and in working order. Check first aid kit for needed supplies daily.
8. Sweep pool deck and surrounding areas daily.
9. Straighten pool furniture regularly, ensuring cleanliness and functionality at all times.
10. Clean clubhouse and surrounding common areas as needed.
11. Garden and pull weeds in common areas as needed.
12. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED (Preferred)
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions.
• Basic computer proficiency, including email and internet use.
• Flexibility to work during non-business hours for events.
• Valid driver's license.
• Strong communication skills.
