Job Title: Pool Attendant

Join us at Beacon Management as a Pool Attendant for the summer season at Camelot Village apartments in Salem, VA. We are seeking a dedicated individual to ensure the safety, cleanliness, and proper operation of our pool area.

Responsibilities

1. Monitor the pool area to ensure safety and compliance with rules.
2. Control access to the pool, allowing only leaseholders and their occupants.
3. Enforce guest limits and supervise minors under 16 without proper supervision.
4. Maintain the sign-in sheet for residents and guests.
5. Enforce pool rules and request non-compliant guests to leave.
6. Ensure food is only eaten in designated areas and not in the pool.
7. Monitor proper swim attire, prohibiting full clothing in the pool.

Pool Maintenance

1. Vacuum the pool, backwash the filter, and brush pool sides daily.
2. Skim the surface and clean skimmer baskets as needed.
3. Record chemical levels three times daily or as instructed.

Facilities Maintenance

1. Regularly mop bathroom floors and replenish supplies.
2. Monitor restrooms for appropriate use and address any issues like clogged toilets.
3. Empty garbage and trash around the pool area throughout the day.
4. Clean ash trays multiple times daily.
