THE EVERETT

Pool Attendant responsibilities include maintaining an attractive, sanitary, and safe swimming pool for residents; controlling swimming pool chemicals; maintaining required logs; ensuring availability of equipment and supplies; and complying with health and safety requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following but are not limited to the job specifications contained herein:

  1. Cleans assigned facilities (e.g., swimming pool, pool deck, equipment areas, showers, etc.) to maintain a sanitary and safe condition.
  2. Inspects swimming pool, deck, mechanical equipment, etc., to ensure safe operations, attractiveness, cleanliness, and identify necessary repairs.
  3. Evaluates equipment function to maintain facilities and comply with health requirements.
  4. Maintains pool, including proper chemical and pH levels, to meet safety standards.
  5. Assists in maintaining swimming pool equipment (e.g., backwashing filters, pump equipment).
  6. Maintains records for reference and compliance purposes.
  7. Monitors inventory levels of chemicals and supplies.
  8. Performs minor repairs to equipment and facilities.
  9. Prepares purchase orders for supplies.
  10. Responds to inquiries regarding pool operations.
  11. Stocks chemicals and supplies, ensuring adequacy and security.
  12. Assists other personnel as needed.
  13. Performs other duties as deemed necessary by supervisory personnel.

  • Work Environment: Occasionally exposed to mechanical parts, chemicals, weather, and electrical risks; moderate noise level.
