Job summary

Sun Outdoors Lake Travis is seeking a Resort Maintenance Technician to perform routine and preventative maintenance across Sun’s resort properties. You will handle building repairs, grounds upkeep, and ensure the resort remains clean, safe, and inviting for guests and residents.

The role requires physical work outdoors, familiarity with tools and equipment, and the ability to respond to resort needs, including on-call support. Regular full-time schedule with a focus on guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 6 months of maintenance experience in a campground or RV resort is preferred.
• General knowledge of maintenance techniques and repair work.
• Ability to endure outdoor work in seasonal temperatures.
• Proficient with hand tools, power equipment and basic machinery.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance to maintain resort properties.
• Complete minor repairs to rental units and facilities.
• Inspect irrigation systems and maintain playgrounds, pools, and other amenities.
• Maintain grounds: mowing, mulching, trimming shrubs, and general lawn care.
• Assist with site setups and ensure resort cleanliness and curb appeal.
