Job summary

Sun Outdoors is seeking a Resort Maintenance Technician to perform routine and preventative maintenance, repair minor issues in rental units and facilities, and ensure the grounds, streets and resort amenities are clean, safe and inviting for guests and residents. This role involves operating hand and power tools, lawn care tasks, and on-call availability to support resort operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6 months in maintenance experience preferred.
• General knowledge of janitorial, plumbing, and grounds maintenance.
• Ability to endure seasonal outdoor work.

Responsibilities

• Empty trash and perform maintenance or repair duties using hand and power tools.
• Complete minor repairs to rental units and facilities.
• Perform routine maintenance and minor emergency repairs (plumbing, sewage, construction).
• Inspect irrigation systems and repair as needed.
• Inspect playgrounds, pools, and recreational areas for safety and upkeep.
