Job summary

Sun Outdoors is seeking a Resort Maintenance Technician to perform routine and preventative maintenance across resort facilities. You will maintain lawns, irrigation, pools, and common areas while ensuring safety and curb appeal.

This on-site role requires the ability to work outdoors in seasonal conditions and lift heavy objects when needed. You will repair minor issues, operate power tools, and document reports for management.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (Required).
• 6 months in previous maintenance experience in a campground or RV resort (Preferred).
• General knowledge of janitorial work, plumbing, and grounds maintenance.
• Proficient skills in operating various hand tools, power equipment, and commercial machinery.
• Ability to provide legible written reports.
• Ability to work well independently as well as on a team.

Responsibilities

• Empty trash and perform maintenance or repair duties using hand tools or power equipment.
• Completes minor repairs to rental units and facilities as needed.
• Completes routine maintenance and minor emergency repairs, plumbing, sewage, construction & street repair.
• Inspects irrigation system and repairs as necessary.
• Inspects playgrounds, pool/spa areas, and recreational amenities for issues and repairs.
• Maintains resort amenities and grounds to meet curb appeal standards.
• Maintains resort pool(s) and vehicles/equipment; follows safety procedures.
• Assists Resort Manager with supervision of service contractors.
• Reports maintenance issues to management and responds to on-call needs.
