HEI Hotels and Resorts in the United States is seeking a kitchen team member to prepare food with consistent quality and assist in daily kitchen functions. The role emphasizes timely preparation, proper handling of perishables, and adherence to safety standards.

You will work with a team in a fast-paced environment, ensuring dishes meet recipe specifications while maintaining a clean and organized station. Training and benefits are provided with a warm, Texan-inspired culture.

Qualifications

• Hotel experience preferred.
• Dexterity to operate food machinery and equipment.
• Ability to grasp, lift and carry up to 100 lbs.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Prepare food of consistent quality following recipes and production standards.
• Start items that are prepared ahead of time to avoid over-preparation.
• Date and rotate perishables, keep at proper temperatures.
• Check pars for shift use, determine preparation needs and line setup; note shortages.
• Return unused items to storage with cover/date.
• Assist in controlling food cost, waste, and usage per standards.
• Operate and clean all kitchen equipment (deep fryer, broiler, stove, steamer, mixer, slicer, ovens, etc.).
• Maintain regular attendance and be available to work as scheduled.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
