Job summary

HEI Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Part-Time Kitchen Associate at Tapatio Springs Hill Country Resort in Boerne, TX. You will prepare food to consistent quality, follow recipes, and assist in kitchen functions while maintaining proper temperatures and portion control.

Qualifications

• Hotel industry experience preferred.
• Excellent manual dexterity to operate kitchen equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and move supplies as needed.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food of consistent quality following recipe cards and production standards.
• Start items prepared ahead of time and monitor for over-preparation.
• Date and rotate perishables to HEI standards and keep buffet stocked.
• Check pars for shift use and plan necessary preparation and line setup.
• Return unused items to storage with proper labeling.
• Assist in controlling food costs and reducing waste per standards.
• Operate clean and safe kitchen equipment including fryers, broilers, ovens, and mixers.
• Maintain attendance and be available to work regular PM shifts.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
