Job summary

HEI Hotels & Resorts in Alpharetta, GA seeks a Kitchen team member responsible for consistent food preparation, recipe adherence and overall kitchen support. You will work with the culinary team to ensure quality dishes and smooth service.

You will assist in mise en place, monitor temperatures, and help maintain standards to deliver guest satisfaction during shifts. Experience in hotel kitchens is preferred and reliability vital.

Qualifications

• Hotel kitchen experience preferred.
• Dexterity to operate food machinery.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs.
• Strong communication with team and servers.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food of consistent quality following recipes and standards.
• Start items prepared ahead to avoid over-portioning.
• Date and rotate perishables; keep temps correct.
• Check pars, determine prep needs, and keep buffet stocked.
• Return unused items to storage, cover/date perishables.
• Assist in cost control and waste reduction per standards.
• Operate and clean kitchen equipment (fryer, broiler, ovens, etc.).
• Be punctual and available to work regularly.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
