Job summary

Great Wolf Lodge is seeking a Director of Housekeeping to lead all aspects of housekeeping services and programming, including operations, budgeting, staffing and payroll. This senior role focuses on guest and employee satisfaction while driving profitability within the housekeeping function.

Responsibilities include developing plans, managing budgets, supervising the Housekeeping and Laundry teams, scheduling staff, and coordinating cross-functional resort operations to ensure exceptional

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 3 years experience supervising large housekeeping departments.
• Minimum of 5 years hotel or resort experience.
• Experience creating and maintaining documents with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed plans allocating resources across groups or departments.
• Manage budgeting, forecasts, and financial reports for housekeeping.
• Supervise daily activities of Housekeeping and Laundry to ensure cleanliness of public areas and guest rooms.
• Provide supervision to Laundry team and ensure efficient operations.
• Recruit, hire, train, and evaluate staff; plan training programs.
• Monitor guest comments and address issues with operational resolutions.
• Participate in the Manager-On-Duty program and execute duties as needed.
• Ensure safety compliance and maintenance of equipment.
