Sun Communities seeks a Resort Maintenance Supervisor in New Jersey to oversee upkeep of resort grounds, facilities, streets and equipment, while supervising a maintenance team. You will coordinate work orders, manage safety, and ensure compliance with procedures.

Responsibilities include water testing, inspections, move-in support, budgeting assistance, and contractor oversight. Strong organizational and communication skills, plus hands-on maintenance experience, are essential for success in

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3 years in general maintenance techniques, repair work, and grounds.
• 1 year supervisory experience preferred.
• Knowledge of plumbing, construction, pool and grounds maintenance.
• Proficient with hand tools and power equipment.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Basic computer skills including MS Office, email, and internet.
• Ability to respond to resort needs after business hours.

Responsibilities

• Follows up on work assignments to ensure timely completion of work orders.
• Performs water testing and related maintenance for well-water systems or on-site meters.
• Assists with property maintenance and repairs of grounds and facilities.
• Oversees selection of contractors and supervises on-site work.
• Completes regular inspections of resident sites across the resort.
• Coordinates team member selection and development; enforces policies.
• Maintains maintenance logs and manages inventory of equipment and supplies.
• Reports status to Resort Manager and assists with budget variances.
