Job summary

Sun Communities, Inc. is seeking a Resort Maintenance Supervisor in Chiefland, FL to oversee maintenance and upkeep of resort grounds, facilities, streets and equipment.

The role includes supervising the maintenance team and coordinating with the Resort Manager to ensure operations run smoothly. Key requirements include a high school diploma or GED and at least 3 years in general maintenance, with 1 year of supervisory experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in maintenance and grounds work.
• 1 year supervisory experience preferred.
• Knowledge of plumbing, construction, pool and grounds maintenance.
• Proficient with hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily maintenance and repairs of resort grounds and facilities.
• Supervise on-site maintenance team members and contractors.
• Maintain maintenance logs and coordinate with Resort Manager on-call schedule.
• Ensure safe handling of hazardous chemicals and safe operation of equipment.
• Support move-in readiness and inspection processes for resident sites.
