Job summary

EOS Hospitality operates on the East Coast with a portfolio of independent and branded hotels. We are seeking a General Manager to lead one of our New York properties, directing resort operations to meet budget goals and guest satisfaction.

The role requires 10+ years of hotel management experience, experience with independent and branded properties, strong sales/marketing and F&B background, and excellent communication and budgeting skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of ten years of management experience in resorts or hotels.
• Independent and Branded hotel experience preferred.
• Sales, marketing and food & beverage experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; strong budgeting & computer skills.
• Ability to guide management and staff to deliver exceptional guest service and meet budget goals.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support all resort departments to meet policies, standards and procedures.
• Interact positively with guests promoting resort features and amenities.
• Monitor hotel operations and address deficiencies with staff.
• Maintain profitability of each department.
• Develop cost savings and profit-enhancing measures across the resort.
• Support the executive committee and leadership group.
• Manage seasonal demand strategy with the revenue team.
• Establish service recovery guidelines and respond to guest concerns promptly.
• Oversee maintenance and enforce hotel standards and compliance.
