Westgate Resorts at The Embarcadero in Newport, OR seeks a Front Desk Agent to welcome guests, check them in/out, manage reservations, and provide local recommendations. You will coordinate with Bell Services and resort teams to support guest needs and ensure accurate account handling.

Ideal candidates excel in hospitality, communication, and problem solving, with flexibility to work weekends and holidays in a coastal resort setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer operations.
• Excellent verbal communication skills, both in person and over the phone.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrated sound judgment when interacting with owners, guests, and team members.
• Basic math, inventory, and cash-handling skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Responsabilités

• Welcome guests and provide a smooth, efficient check-in and check-out experience.
• Assist with reservations, room assignments, keys, and special guest requests.
• Answer guest questions and provide helpful information about the resort, dining, shopping, and local attractions.
• Make, modify, and confirm reservations while maintaining accurate guest records.
• Process payments, post charges, and accurately handle guest account transactions.
• Coordinate with Bell Services and other resort teams to support guest needs.
• Assist with restaurant reservations, transportation, and local activities.
• Receive and accurately distribute guest messages, mail, and other communications.
• Safeguard guest valuables using designated hotel security procedures.
• Complete nightly bucket checks and help ensure guest records are accurate.
• Respond to guest concerns with professionalism, empathy, and a solution-focused approach.
