Job summary

BlueStar Resort & Golf in Rio Verde, AZ is seeking a part-time Server to greet guests and serve food and beverages across the restaurant, bar and patio. You will report to the Food & Beverage Manager and contribute to a welcoming, high‑quality guest experience.

This role offers $12.15 per hour plus gratuities. The position requires a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends; prior server experience and a valid Food Handlers Card with TIPS certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1–3 months’ server experience preferred.
• Must meet the state and federal minimum age requirement for serving alcohol.
• Current Food Handlers Card and TIPS Certification (Training for Intervention Procedures).
• Ability to understand and implement resort dining standards.
• Ability to perform basic math for discounts and percentages.

Responsibilities

• Greet and serve guests in an energetic and friendly fashion.
• Provide excellent hospitality by knowing the resort facilities and menu.
• Write orders and relay to kitchen and bar staff.
• Serve and clear tables following service etiquette and procedures.
• Engage with guests to ensure all needs are met and service is consistent.
• Work as a team under supervision of the Lead Server or F&B Manager.
• Report safety issues or guest concerns to a supervisor.
