Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. is seeking a Residential Driver to safely and efficiently remove waste from curbside and backdoor routes in Texas.

You will operate a residential/recycling truck, load materials, perform safety inspections, and maintain accurate records, while delivering courteous service to customers. The role requires a CDL, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to work with a team on varied routes and overtime when needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or desired.
• Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
• Minimum one year of commercial driving experience or CDL school certificate.

Responsibilities

• Operate a residential/recycling collection truck on curbside and/or backdoor routes.
• Load solid waste and recyclables into the vehicle.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and complete reports.
• Communicate vehicle mechanical problems to supervisor promptly.
• Maintain route quality and adhere to safety standards.
