Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. is seeking a Residential Driver to safely and courteously provide waste removal services on curbside and backdoor routes. The role involves operating a residential/recycling truck, loading waste, and transporting it to post-collection facilities.

You will perform pre- and post-trip inspections, document route activities, and communicate any vehicle issues to maintenance staff. Ideal candidates hold a CDL or CDL school certification, with at least one year of driving

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED desired.
• Must possess a Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Minimum one year of commercial driving experience or CDL school certificate.

Responsibilities

• Operate residential/recycling collection truck on assigned route.
• Load solid waste and recyclables into vehicle and ensure proper containment.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections and complete reports.
• Notify supervisor of any vehicle mechanical issues immediately.
• Maintain route quality and comply with safety and company policies.
