Job summary

MHMR of Tarrant County is seeking Residential Trainers in Fort Worth, TX. This role supports individuals toward greater independence by mentoring, coaching daily living skills and community activities, and assisting with medication tasks and health monitoring.

We value patience, empathy, and the ability to handle challenging situations to keep individuals safe and supported. A Texas driver’s license is required, with SAMA containment training and the ability to lift up to 55 pounds.

Qualifications

  • Valid Texas driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
  • SAMA containment certification required; must demonstrate lifting up to 55 pounds.

Minimum Requirements

Minimum Education: High School / GED

License/Certifications: Valid Texas driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

Satori Alternatives to Managing Aggression (SAMA) Containment. Must be able to demonstrate lifting and transferring of 55 pounds.
