Job summary

MHMR of Tarrant County is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Behavioral Health team in Fort Worth, TX. The RN will plan, direct, coordinate and participate in the delivery of health care services across MHMR Behavioral Health sites and community settings, applying the nursing process to assessments, planning, intervention, education and evaluation.

The ideal candidate will hold an ADN or BSN in Nursing, possess a valid Texas RN license and CPR certification, have a clean driving record, and

Qualifications

• RN program graduation with ADN or BSN.
• Valid Texas driver license with clean driving record.
• Current RN licensure and CPR certification.
• One year of Behavioral Health experience preferred; bilingual a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate health care services in Behavioral Health sites and community settings.
• Apply the nursing process: assessments, planning, intervention, education, evaluation, and consultation.
• Be a member of the interdisciplinary treatment team.

Join our team to make a difference The Registered Nurse Crisis plans, directs, coordinates and participates in the provision of health care services for individuals in Behavioral Health sites and in the community. This is done using the nursing process in nursing assessments, planning, implementation/intervention, education, evaluation, and consultation. The RN is a member of the interdisciplinary treatment team.

Minimum Requirements

• Required Education: RN Program Graduation-Associate Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
• Preferences: Bilingual; Minimum one (1) year of experience in Behavioral Health: Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing or Substance Use Disorder Nursing
• License/Certifications: Valid Texas Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record, Current RN licensure, CPR Certification
