Job summary

Bridgewell is seeking an Assistant Residential Manager 3 to oversee daily operations of residential homes or day programs for individuals with disabilities. You will provide direct care support and coordinate program duties, with moderate to considerable physical assistance as needed.

The role requires supervising staff, ensuring documentation across DDS, DMH, MassHealth, HUD, DPH, CARF and Bridgewell policies, and driving responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• DSP Certification preferred.
• Minimum of one year of experience with people with developmental or psychiatric disabilities.
• Demonstrated ability to lead staff or act as shift leader.

Responsibilities

• Lead staff to ensure performance standards and program alignment.
• Provide leadership to staff and coordinate communication with on-call and management teams.
• Ensure services and documentation meet regulatory standards and agency policies.
• Create opportunities to develop skills and foster independence for individuals.
• Oversee medical, clinical, and financial needs and secure appropriate services.
• Transport individuals to medical, recreational, and other activities as needed.
• Build and maintain relationships with funding sources, groups, families, and providers.
• Monitor petty cash and keep spending within budget.
• Provide interim coverage as directed by the Residential Supervisor.
• Maintain core training certifications (CPR/FA, OSHA, CPI, MAP, PABC, Driver Safety).
• Other duties as assigned.
