Job summary

Bridgewell in Massachusetts is seeking an Assistant Residential Manager 1 to help oversee the daily operation of a residential home for individuals with disabilities. You will provide direct care support and coordinate program duties, with specialized training offered to address multiple disabilities.

The role requires leadership of staff, strong communication, and adherence to DDS, DMH, MassHealth, HUD, and CARF standards.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED; Associate or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• Minimum of one year of experience working with people with developmental or psychiatric disabilities.
• Demonstrated ability to lead staff or act as shift leader and coordinate documentation with management or nursing staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead staff to ensure performance standards align with agency requirements, mission, goals, and principles.
• Provide leadership to create a positive work climate and cohesive team; communicate concerns to on-call/management staff as needed.
• Ensure services and documentation meet regulatory standards (DDS, DMH, MassHealth, HUD, DPH, CARF) and Bridgewell policies.
• Oversee medical, clinical, and financial needs; identify needs and secure services as needed.
• Maintain relationships with funding sources, families, and other providers.
