Job summary

Bridgewell seeks a Residential Manager to oversee a community-based home for individuals with disabilities. You will supervise staff, ensure care quality, and manage budgets while coordinating clinical and behavioral services to meet residents’ needs.

You will partner with families, maintain certifications, and ensure compliance with HIPAA, DDS, and CARF standards. A Monday–Friday schedule supports stable, consistent care delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience in direct care supervision.
• Minimum 2 years' direct care experience; supervisory experience required.
• Experience in coordinating staff, scheduling, and program budgets.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and program funding requirements is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Ensure program and accreditation standards for quality of care.
• Staff scheduling, hiring, and use of per-diem/agency relief staff.
• Conduct monthly staff supervisions and team meetings; coach and mentor staff.
• Provide timely performance evaluations and address concerns with HR.
• Maintain required certifications (CPR/First Aid, MAP, PPS, PABC).
• Oversee administrative duties: finance, HR, payroll, EHR, and medication procedures.
• Manage on-call coverage and coordinate with transportation as needed.
• Collaborate with clinical and nursing teams to meet medical and behavioral needs.
• Engage with guardians/families to support care and communication.
• Monitor program budget, expenses, overtime, and supplies.
• Assist clients with financial needs and benefits applications.
• Provide direct care in absence of staff when needed.
• Coordinate community outings and family meetings with proper prep.
• Oversee data management and time/attendance systems.
• Ensure vehicle registrations and maintenance through Transportation Dept.
• Protect confidentiality of health information per HIPAA and policy.
