Job summary

Bridgewell is seeking an Assistant Residential Manager 2 to oversee daily operations of a residential home for individuals with disabilities in Merrimac, MA. You will provide direct care support and coordinate program duties, with training on challenging behaviors and medical needs as required.

The role requires leadership of staff, documentation control, and ensuring compliance with DDS/DMH/MassHealth rules while fostering independence and community integration.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• DSP Certification preferred
• Associate or Bachelor's degree in related field preferred
• Minimum one year experience with developmental or psychiatric disabilities
• Experience leading staff or shift leadership and coordinating documentation

Responsibilities

• Lead staff to uphold performance standards and agency requirements
• Provide leadership and maintain a positive team climate
• Ensure services and documentation meet regulatory standards and Bridgewell policies
• Develop opportunities for individuals to make decisions and foster independence
• Oversee medical, clinical, and financial needs and coordinate services
• Transport individuals to medical or recreational activities as needed
• Build relationships with funding sources and community partners
• Monitor petty cash and maintain budget compliance
• Provide interim coverage during absence as directed
• Maintain core training certifications (CPR/FA, OSHA, CPI, MAP, PABC, Driver Safety)
• Perform other duties as assigned
