Independent Living Association NYC is seeking an experienced supervisor to oversee daily operations of residences, ensuring safety, sanitation and adequate support services. You will supervise Direct Care Counselors, cooks and maintenance staff, provide training, and report to the Area Coordinator in supervisor absences.

Role includes payroll duties, staff scheduling, disciplinaries, and coordination with vendors.

Formación

• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience with the DD population.
• Must have a Valid Driver’s license.
• Must be computer literate, detail-oriented and have excellent verbal and written skills.
• Ability to multi-task is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise the Direct Care Counselors, Cook and Maintenance personnel and ensure training is provided to the facility staff.
• Manage the residence in the absence of the Residence Supervisor and report to the Area Coordinator.
• Responsible for employee relations and conflict resolution.
• Ensure safety and sanitation and maintain adequate support services (vendors, suppliers).
• Complete and administer performance evaluations of union staff.
• Participate in hiring events with Recruitment Specialist and in the disciplinary process.
• Provide emergency coverage and ensure proper staffing, including vacations and coverage.
• Manage petty cash, vendor invoices and statements; oversee data collection and daily operations.
