Job summary

The role focuses on supervising direct care staff, ensuring safety and sanitation, and coordinating support services for residents with developmental disabilities, alongside DSPs, cooks, and maintenance staff. The position requires a minimum of a high school diploma or GED, with an Associate’s degree preferred, plus at least 2 years of supervisory experience in the DD field.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of supervisory experience with the DD population.
• Must be computer literate and proficient in basic office software.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Valid Driver’s license required.
• Ability to multi-task and pay attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Direct Care staff and maintenance personnel and ensure training is provided.
• Assist in daily residence operations and ensure safety and sanitation standards.
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for support services.
• Conduct performance evaluations and participate in disciplinary processes as needed.
• Manage payroll, schedules, and staff coverage to ensure smooth operation.
• Support community inclusion activities and document daily data.
