Job summary

Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota is seeking a Designated Coordinator to lead residential programs and ensure quality and regulatory compliance for individuals served under Minnesota Statute 245D. The role focuses on guiding teams, supporting autonomy, and maintaining program records.

You will supervise direct care staff, coordinate service delivery, and monitor medication administration while ensuring safety and well‑being.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a human services field with 1 year of direct care experience
• Associate degree in a human services field with 2 years of direct care experience
• Diploma in a human services field with 3 years of direct care experience
• Minimum 50 hours of education/training in human services and disabilities with 4 years of direct care experience

Responsibilities

• Oversee one or more residential homes serving 4+ individuals
• Coordinate service delivery and safeguard health and safety
• Guide direct support professionals through training and performance management
• Monitor compliance with 245D requirements and internal policies
• Collaborate with clinicians, medical staff and community partners
• Provide hands‑on direct care for at least 16 hours per week
• Manage budgets, scheduling, and documentation with leadership
