Job summary

Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota is seeking a Designated Coordinator to oversee residential programs, coordinate service delivery, and ensure compliance with Minnesota Statute 245D. You will supervise direct support professionals and guide teams serving 4+ individuals, promoting safety, health, and independence.

The role involves a qualifying pathway under 245D, a valid driver’s license, and CPR/First Aid certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a human services field + 1 year of direct care experience.
• Associate degree in a human services field + 2 years of direct care experience.
• Diploma in a human services field + 3 years of direct care experience.
• Minimum of 50 hours of education/training in human services and disabilities + 4 years of direct care experience under qualified supervision.

Responsibilities

• Oversee one or more residential homes serving 4+ individuals.
• Coordinate person-centered outcomes while safeguarding health and safety.
• Lead, train, coach, and evaluate direct support professionals.
• Monitor adherence to 245D Requirements and organizational policies.
• Manage budgets, documentation, and regulatory communications.
• Provide hands-on direct care as needed to meet program requirements.
