Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a human services field + 1 year of full‑time direct care experience with individuals with disabilities or adults age 65+.
• Associate degree in a human services field + 2 years of full‑time direct care experience.
• Diploma in a human services field + 3 years of full‑time direct care experience.
• 50 hours of education/training in human services and disabilities + 4 years of full‑time direct care experience under qualified supervision.

Responsabilités

• Program Oversight: Direct responsibility for one or more residential homes serving 4+ individuals, including meals, supplies, and budgets.
• Service Delivery: Ensure person‑centered outcomes while safeguarding health and safety.
• Team Leadership: Guidance and supervision of direct support professionals, including training and performance management.
• Compliance & Quality Assurance: Monitoring adherence to 245D requirements and policies.
• Collaboration: Partner with behavioral analysts, therapists, medical professionals, and community stakeholders.
• Direct Care: Provide a minimum of 16 hours of hands-on support, with additional hours as needed.
• Staffing and Shift Coverage: Oversee schedules and open shift coverage.
• Administrative Duties: Managing budgets, documentation, and communications with regulators and leadership.

Formation

Bachelor’s degree in a human services field + 1 year of full‑time direct care experience

Associate degree in a human services field + 2 years of full‑time direct care experience

Diploma in a human services field from an accredited postsecondary institution + 3 years of full‑time direct care experience

50 hours of education/training in human services and disabilities + 4 years of full‑time direct care experience
