Job summary

Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota is seeking a Designated Coordinator to oversee residential programs serving multiple individuals, ensuring quality and regulatory compliance.

You will guide a direct support team, monitor medications and plans, manage budgets and records, and collaborate with professionals to meet client outcomes and safety standards. This is primarily a Monday–Friday onsite role with emergency availability as needed.

Qualifications

• Education/experience pathways per Minnesota Statute 245D.81.
• CPR, First Aid, and Medication Administration certification (may be obtained after hire).
• Valid driver's license and satisfactory MVR.
• Training in supervisory skills, team building, and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite oversight and support of direct care professionals and people served.
• Coordinate service delivery to ensure person-centered outcomes and safety.
• Lead and supervise the direct support team, including training and performance management.
• Monitor compliance with 245D requirements and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with professionals to align support and services.
• Provide a minimum of 16 hours of hands-on direct care weekly.
• Oversee schedules, staffing, and shift coverage.
• Manage budgets, documentation, and regulatory communications.
