Job summary

Progress Residential is seeking a Service Technician II to inspect, troubleshoot and repair components in our single-family rental homes. You will perform both scheduled and emergency maintenance, diagnose HVAC items, and ensure safety and compliance.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, HVAC certification preferred, EPA certification, and a valid driver’s license. On-call availability and owning your own tools are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• HVAC certification preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• EPA Certification required.
• Minimum 3 years of general service/maintenance experience.
• Employee must have own tools to perform ongoing service.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot and repair systems in Progress Residential homes.
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and repairs.
• Diagnose HVAC items including thermostat, batteries and filters.
• Report major repairs prior to expenditure of funds.
• Maintain safety and comply with regulations.
• Follow fleet vehicle maintenance and keep workspace organized.
• Ensure punctual attendance and provide outstanding customer service.
• Be a representative of Progress Residential to residents and vendors.
