Job summary

NorthPoint is seeking a Service Technician to join its team. The role focuses on timely resident service, troubleshooting and repairing plumbing, HVAC, appliances, carpentry, and electrical systems within a multi-family community.

Candidates should have a High School diploma or GED, EPA Universal HVAC certification, and a valid driver's license. This position requires on-site work, physical effort, and on-call availability as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or related experience and/or training.
• EPA Universal HVAC Certification for refrigerant handling.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License.
• Provide own hand tools and be skilled in safe tool use.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and perform physical work.
• Strong written and verbal communication and teamwork.
• Willing to be on-call after hours and work indoors/outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests promptly and professionally.
• Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, HVAC, appliances, carpentry and electrical systems.
• Comply with OSHA/EPA regulations and safety standards.
• Maintain interior and exterior of the community to meet high living standards.
• Ensure Fair Housing compliance in operations and with staff.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
