Job summary

NorthPoint is seeking a Service Technician for an on-site role in Kansas City, MO. You will respond to resident service requests and perform repairs across plumbing, HVAC, appliances, carpentry and electrical systems to uphold our high living standards.

We value customer service, safety, and teamwork. A valid driver's license, EPA HVAC certification, and hands-on tools experience are required; some lifting and physical work are expected.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED or related experience and/or training.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License
• EPA Universal HVAC Certified for refrigerant recycling
• Provide own hand tools and must be knowledgeable and skilled in the safe use and maintenance of hand tools, power tools, user‑moved aids, mechanical equipment and measuring devices
• Must be able to transport items weighing up to 25 pounds

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair the community systems including plumbing, HVAC, appliances, carpentry and electrical
• Maintain the exterior/interior of the community to exceed apartment living standards
• Comply with OSHA/EPA regulations
• Ensure the community and staff follows Fair Housing regulations nationally/locally and other laws governing Multi‑Family operations
• Any other additional task required
