Job summary

ADT Residential Service Technician is a troubleshooter and service expert responsible for alleviating customer concerns regarding security systems. You will advise customers and the care center on system status and inspection outcomes.

Key duties include locating and addressing damaged equipment, reading plans, and coordinating with authorities when needed. A strong service attitude and dependable driving record are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience installing and inspecting/repairing ADT or comparable product line.
• Ability to read building electrical and sprinkler plans.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, configure, reconstruct and program existing security and site automation solutions.
• Test and validate system signals/communication with central monitoring.
• Read blueprints, building and electrical plans to complete equipment repairs.
• Coordinate inspections and/or installations with police, fire departments, or other appropriate agencies.
