Job summary

ADT Residential Service Technician is a troubleshooter and service expert responsible for addressing customer concerns about security systems. This role advises customers and the care center on system status and inspection processes.

Responsibilities include locating and alleviating trouble with damaged equipment, readjusting equipment, and coordinating with authorities or installers for inspections and repairs to ensure reliable protection for homes and businesses.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills.
• Able to read building electrical and sprinkler plans as required for clearing equipment trouble.
• Standing, stooping, lifting, climbing, crawling.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, configure, reconstruct and program existing security and site automation solutions.
• Service fire and carbon monoxide detection, networking, hosted video solutions, and access control.
• Test and validate system signals/communication with central monitoring to properly establish service.
• Coordinate inspections and/or installations with police, fire departments, or other appropriate agencies.
